Ted is a born mechanic with a passion for racing and pretty much anything that goes fast enough to get hurt. He functions as the crew chief/ goto guy for all things mechanical. He has built, crewed and driven in cars such as BMW Spec E30’s , Porsche 944’s, and BMW E46 M3’s. His attention to detail and his strong work ethic make him a valued member on the TCR team. Of course he likes to balance these good attributes with the following facts…
He has “experienced” the “outside” of almost every turn at Roebling Road. He has crewed when it was 120 degrees INSIDE the trailer and raced in a car that was 140 degrees inside. He has raced in a “fire suit” that had been soaked in gas the previous day while changing multiple fuel pumps. He is legally required to wear prescription glassed while driving on the street, yet he does not always wear them while racing on the track. He has raced a car that was built (almost entirely) by intoxicated “mechanics”, that had no clutch hydraulics, that had a tire plug in one rear tire and Slime holding air in the other rear tire. He was the fifth fastest driver of a 6 man team. He also enjoys karate movies, long walks on the beach, and M&M Blizards.
