1984: Finished 2nd in D Stock driving a 1983 GTI at SCCA South East Div SOLO 2 Championship at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Winner was Randy Pobst.
2002, 2003 and 2004: PCA Peachstate Region Autocross Champion in P17 driving 1997 993 Carrera 2S
2002 started Driver Education with PCA Peachstate Region
2004 built a 88 924S race car and started Club Racing with PCA (I Class), PBOC (R8) and later started with NASA Southeast Region (944 CUP) and SCCA Atlanta Region (ITX)
2004 – PCA Peachstate Region Rookie Racer of the Year
2004 Awarded “SAFE RACER” by OG Racing and PCA
2009 – 944 Cup Southeast Champion, Finished 11th at 944 Cup National Championship at VIR
2010 – 944 Cup Southeast Runner-Up, Finished 6th at 944 Cup National Championship at VIR
2010 Awarded “OUTSTANDING DRIVER” by OG Racing and PCA
2011 – Joined Thunder Chicken Racing Chump Car Team
As you can see TCR has brought in a world class ringer onto its team and he even came with his own crazy yet very appropriate nickname… No one is sure where the name “Gallito Rojo” came from but it fit so well with the team name that we kept it. While Tim has a very serious and accomplished racing career, he has a secret Chumpside as well. He is the self-proclaimed “Chief Kitty Litter Inspector” for the team and we are glad to have him… (that cat box hasn’t been emptied in years!!)
